Simple by Design
Three steps from unboxing to riding with live heart rate.
Start HRM
Open the HRM app on your iPhone and Apple Watch, then press Start on your Watch.
Connect
Your bike computer discovers the HRM app as a heart rate sensor — just like a chest strap.
Ride
Stow your phone and ride. Heart rate streams live to your cycling computer in the background.
Everything You Need. Nothing You Don't.
Built for cyclists who want heart rate data without extra hardware or complexity.
No Extra Hardware
Just your Apple Watch and iPhone. No chest strap, no Wahoo TICKR, no Watchlink dongle.
Works in the Background
Lock your screen after starting. The app keeps broadcasting while your phone sits in your jersey pocket.
Battery-Friendly
Uses no more battery than tracking an indoor workout. Tested on rides over 8 hours.
No Clutter
No training zones, no duplicate workout tracking, no unnecessary settings. Just heart rate, reliably delivered.

Loved by Cyclists
This app is amazing!
Saved me from having to wear a separate HRM using a bike computer as the Apple Watch isn't supportive of ANT+. Well done to the developer!

Clever app that solves a problem
I have the Garmin Edge 130 and I followed the setup video and it works seamlessly. Really glad I don't have to wear an additional HR monitor to get this data into Garmin.

Frequently Asked Questions
What bike computers work with the HRM app?
Most cycling computers that support Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) heart rate sensors. This includes Garmin Edge (selected models), Wahoo ELEMNT, Hammerhead Karoo, Bryton, and popular indoor training apps like Zwift and TrainerRoad.
Not all devices are compatible — check yours here before downloading.
Does it work alongside Garmin Connect?
Most Garmin Edge models only allow one active Bluetooth connection to your iPhone at a time. In practice, you choose between the HRM app or Garmin Connect features (notifications, live tracking, weather) during a ride.
The Garmin guide explains the exact workaround — it's reliable once you know the steps.
Do I need to keep the iPhone app open while riding?
No. Start the app, let your bike computer connect, then lock your screen or switch apps. The HRM app keeps broadcasting in the background.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 7 days, completely free. No charge if you cancel before the trial ends.
Is it available on Android?
No. HRM requires Apple Watch for heart rate measurement and iPhone for Bluetooth broadcasting. Android is not supported.
